Spec Fuel: Sunoco Supreme 112 and  Sunoco pump gas.  See individual class listings below for specified fuel.

All Sunoco fuels will be available trackside starting Friday October 16th.  Fuel can be purchased by the gallon from the Sunoco fuel truck from Friday morning thru Sunday 10 am.

 

Mixing of fuel brands or types is ILLEGAL and will result in a DQ.  Any additives, whether they are performance enhancing or not, are ILLEGAL and will result in a DQ (with the exception of manufacturer additives present in pump gas from the pump). ​

Spec Oil: Elf HTX 909 will be the only spec oil for all KA classes.

Spec Tires: The Vega tire will be the spec tire for the IKF Grand Nationals at Spring Mountain. Please see the individual class listing below for the required spec Vega tire for each class.

Tires will NOT be included with entry.  Practice and race tires may be purchased through your team if they are Vega dealers or your local kart shop if they carry Vega tires.  Tires will be available at trackside through Empire Karts and Cashed Out Racing parts trailers.  Acceleration Kart Racing in Las Vegas will have Vega in stock.

Only 1 set of race tires maybe used from Qualifying through the Grand Final per class entry.

Official Practice (Friday) – 4 Practice sessions and Qualifying (session)

Saturday Racing – Warm-up and 3 Heat races

Sunday Racing – Warm-up and the Grand Final

Racing FORMAT

Friday: 4 practice sessions plus Qualifying (timed session)

Saturday: Heat 1 grid determined by Qualifying

                Heat 2 grid determined by Qualifying

                Super Heat grid determined by combined finishing points of Heats 1 & 2*

Sunday: The Grand Final! Grid order determined by combined finishing points of all 3 Heat races from Saturday(highest point total)*.

 

*Qualifying results will be used as the tie breaker.
